Challenge equipment is guaranteed to be free of defects in workmanship or material for a period of
three years, two years, one year, or ninety days from the date of installation (except consumables such as, but not limited to, knives, cutting sticks, drill blocks, drill bits, glass, fold rollers, belts, etc.) in keeping with the following schedule:
Three years
- Multiple-Spindle paper drills (MS-10, MS-5, & EH-3)
Two years
- Champion series paper cutters
- Titan programmable cutters
- i cutter series paper cutters
- Medalist 870 paper folder
One year
- Spartan series paper cutters
- Single-Spindle paper drills
- Titan 200BC paper cutter
- PowerLift stack lifter
- Single Cornering Machines
- CMT 130 & 330 automated book trimmers
Ninety days
- Stock trucks
- Padding presses
- Joggers
- Handy-Sharp
Challenge will repair or replace, at our option, any equipment covered by the foregoing warranty and proving defective during the warranty period, not caused by accident, misuse or improper maintenance,
if returned to our factory, transportation charges prepaid. Failure to perform proper maintenance as
detailed in the Operators Manual may void the warranty. If you believe you have a warranty claim,
contact Challenge for return authorization. Challenge will not be responsible for any charges incurred
without its specific authorization.
Orders for warranty parts will be shipped freight prepaid via ground service at Challenge’s expense. Charges for priority shipments (next day air, etc.) will be split between Challenge and the dealer.
The Challenge warranty does not include the cost of any labor incurred or performed by Challenge, the dealer or other third party to replace defective components.
THE WARRANTIES STATED HEREIN ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUATORY, OR OTHERWISE. CHALLENGE MAKES NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE REMEDIES PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY FOR ANY DEFECT IN WORKMANSHIP OR MATERIAL OF THE PRODUCT ARE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE DEALER OR ANY CUSTOMER, AND CHALLENGE SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY TO THE DEALER OR ANY CUSTOMER FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOST PROFITS OR OTHER ECONOMIC INJURY, DUE TO DEFECTS IN WORKMANSHIP OR MATERIAL OF THE PRODUCT.
