The Keencut Ultimat Futura 40" Mat Cutter offers all the precision of the Ultimat Gold, plus a new cutting head with self aligning roller bearings, providing the smoothest cut ever. It features a 40" cutting length and can cut select materials, including banners, mat board, foam board, mounting board, conservation board, self-adhesive vinyl, and corrugated plastic, up to 3/16" thick. It features a precision cutting head sculpted for comfort, a unique "clip on" right squaring arm, unique sliding gauge to pinpoint exact blade entry and exit spots, a roller "lift and hold" system, and patented micro stop adjusters. The Ultimat Futura 40 also features easy to change magnetic blade holders, allowing you to go from cutting one material to a totally different material in seconds. The cutting head is mounted on large diameter roller thrust bearings, which run on still tracks, and provide total control of both blade carriers, without flex, side play, or hooks. All accessories can be held in the base plate. The Ultimat Futura 40" is easy to use, precise, and smooth, and would suit the most meticulous needs of either right or left handed users.
