5:1 Pitch 36" Plastic Coil (100 pcs/box)

Create an impressive presentation with these colorful binding spines. Color coil adds energy to your reports and proposals, and demands attention. This spine always keeps its shape with bounce-back flexibility. It lets pages lie flat with 360 degree rotation for convenient note taking and photocopying. Its bind is permanent, so you can be sure documents stay organized. To determine the coil size for your document, measure the thickness of the document sitting on a flat surface and add 2 mm. These plastic coils are compatible with spiral coil binding machines.

5:1 pitch (meaning 5 holes per inch of your document) provides a nice, clean finish due to tighter coils, but the offside is that larger diameters are not possible and there is a more limited range of book thicknesses it is possible to bind. Coils are also available in 4:1 pitch, the most standard, typical binding size you will come across. Finally, there is a specialized 3:1 pitch available, meant as a plastic alternative to Twin/Double Loop Wire or GBC Proclick and is easier for binding larger books due to less coils per inch to thread the coils through.

These coils are also available in a pre-cut 12" length perfect for binding typical page sizes. The 12" length also offers larger diameter sizes from 38 - 50 mm. Please note these are the extended 36" length, perfect for cutting down to a custom length. You will also save money with the 36" length as you save on the cost of pre-cutting.
