The HSM Pure 740c Cross Cut Shredder is an amazing paper shredder for large organizations comprising departments. HSM Pure 740c is equipped with a German made lifetime warranted cutting cylinder that destroys all material passing through it to 3/16” x 1 1/8” indistinguishable particles that make it a P-4 standard shredder. It is built sturdy enough to shred through materials like plastic cards, optical disks, paper clips, and staples as well as paper. The heavy-duty motor it incorporates is capable of continuous operation and also produces minimal noise, making it ideal for use in busy offices. HSM 740 Cross Cut Shredder sports a sheet capacity of up to 27 sheets with an impressive shredding speed of 17 feet/min, and a throat size of 15.7”. It features automatic start/stop that works by detecting the presence of material at its throat, and operating the motor accordingly. The Eco Smart technology it utilizes leads to optimal power consumption as it sets the machine into standby mode when it is not being used. User safety is a priority with HSM and this shredder is no exception. It contains a safety element that instantly shuts off the motor when pressure is applied on it. Furthermore, HSM Pure 740c uses jam prevention technology to end the problem of frequent paper jams inside the cutting cylinder. It does so by monitoring the load on the feed unit. Lastly, it has a huge 38.3 gallon removable waste bin which is the perfect waste collection element for a shredder this big.
