3:1 Pitch 12" Plastic Coil (100 pcs/bx)

Its bind is permanent, so you can be sure documents stay organized. To determine the coil size for your document, measure the thickness of the document sitting on a flat surface and add 2 mm.

These coils are 3:1 pitch (meaning they have 3 holes per inch of your document). 3:1 is a bit of a specialty size meant specifically as an alternative to Twin/Double Loop Wire Binding and GBC Proclick. This size is easier to use for large diameter books because there are less holes to run the coil through. Also available are 4:1 pitch, which is the most standard, typical binding size you will come across and 5:1 pitch, which provides a cleaner finish due to tighter coils but has a more limited range of book thicknesses it is possible to bind.

These coils are also available in a longer 36" length perfect for cutting down to your desired length. However, due to the specialized nature of these pitch of coils, the shorter 12" length is a better deal cost-wise.
