Sentry Safes Product Warranty

Sentry Group provides a limited warranty for all (excluding Cash and Key boxes) the products we manufacture. The terms of the warranty consist of 1 year from the date of purchase (a dated receipt is requiered as proof of puchase).

Your Sentry ® Safe product was designed, built and thoroughly inspected at the factory to assure you of trouble-free service, given normal use and care. Sentry Group warrants the quality and workmanship of your product according to the terms and conditions as stated in the owners' manuals.

This warranty primarily covers structural and mechanical defects due to faulty materials or workmanship. Please consult your owner's manual and warranty sheet for additional details for the model you own.

If a Sentry ® Safe Fire-Safe ® product is damaged by fire at any time while still owned by you (the original owner), Sentry Group will ship a replacement free of charge, if you send the following information to:

  • The model number and a photo of the burned unit
  • A description of the fire, along with a copy of the fire department, insurance or police report.

Sentry ® Safe guarantees that if at any time during the first ninety (90) days after the date of purchase, you are not entirely satisfied with your SentrySafe product, please call our customer service department toll-free at 1-800-828-1438 (Monday -Friday, 8 am - 6 pm EST).

We will solve the problem or ensure that you receive a replacement or full refund. Dated receipt required as proof of purchase.

The Fire Protection Limited Reimbursement Guarantee is an additional dollar level of protection offered on our safe models. Sentry Group's Insurance provider will reimburse you for the fair market value of the valuables you store in this Sentry ® Safe Fire-Safe ® up to

$10,000 (US Dollars) (model numbers starting with: S0, I0, DS0, MS0, KS0, OS03, OS04, OS06, CS0, WS04, WS08, & DSR0);

$15,000 (US Dollars) (model numbers starting with: S3, I3, DSR3, MS3, KSW3, MSW3, OS38, CS34, CS38 & WS38);

$20,000 (US Dollars) (model numbers starting with S4, I4, OA4 & OA08);

$25,000 (US Dollars) (model numbers starting with: S5, I5, DS5, MS5, OS54, OS56, OS58 & CS50);

$30,000 (US Dollars) (model numbers starting with: A3, J3, DAR3, MA3, OA36, & OA38);

40,000 (US Dollars) (model numbers starting with: A4 & J40);

$50,000 (US Dollars) (model numbers starting with: A5, J5, DA5, MA5, OA54, OA58, CA5 & DAR58);

which are lost in a fire. Reimbursement is provided for a direct physical loss caused by fire and excludes consequential, damage i.e, melting, water, etc- subject to the limitations on the completed registration form. This Fire Protection Limited Reimbursement Guarantee does not cover loss due to theft. This reimbursement is excess over any valid and collectible property insurance carried by the owner of the safe. You must complete the insurance registration card, and mail that in to initiate this additional protection for your safe contents. In addition, it must be renewed on an annual basis to remain active. Annual updates will be mailed once you have registered.
