The HSM SP4040c Cross Cut Shredder/Baler is the most comprehensive data disposal in current markets. This functional shredder/baler comes with the most demandable of features and is ideal for large archives and central shredding points in large organizations. Its high capacity shredding unit has a shredding capacity 120 sheets of paper, presenting the perfect shredding ability for high-end organizations. Accompanying it is the extra wide feed throat of 17” which can easily accommodate unusual paper sizes. The robust shredding unit features a continuous duty motor and a geared, chain-driven transmission that makes it durable and leads to efficient output. This shredding unit can effortlessly handle flash drives, floppy disks, plastic cards, and optical disks. HSM SP4040c has an equally capable bailing unit as well. It bales up to 77 lb. of material and can produce up to 8 bales per hour. With such baling capability, users can quickly compress waste material to compact bales and enjoy convenient waste disposal. A number of innovative technologies supplement the powerful elements installed in the SP4040c Cross Cut Shredder/Baler. The JamStop function is included for instant jam clearance. It detects when the shredder is being overloaded and stops the motor to avoid time wastage. The feed unit incorporates an electric conveyer belt that makes operators’ jobs easier. LED indicators are in place for auto stop and standby mode. A 39 gallon waste bin is included in the design so all shreds can be easily disposed off and there is no unnecessary mess around the shredder.
